Obtaining a hard copy of your Amateur License The FCC no longer sends out a copy of your license when you first pass the Technician class exam, upgrade your license, get a vanity call sign, or move. Procedures for printing a copy of your license are found on this ARRL website.

Volunteer Examiner Qualifications
As a Volunteer Examiner (VE), you are the gatekeeper to the integrity of the Volunteer Examiner Program. To that end, you must have certain qualifications and be accredited by a Volunteer Examiner Coordinator.
To qualify to be a Volunteer Examiner, you must:
- be 18 years of age or older;
- never have had your amateur station or operator licenses suspended or revoked;
- hold a valid General, Advanced or Extra Class license.

You've upgraded and now you'd like a new callsign. Now what?
To find out which callsigns are available, go to http://www.radioqth.net/vanity/available
General Upgrades:
Under Format choose: 1x3 or 2x3
For Prefix choose: K, N or W
For District choose: 6
You can leave the suffix blank it they'll show you every call available with those parameters or you can type in something you like and see if it's available.
To get more returns for each suffix letter, Type in a single letter in the suffix box.
Click Search.


Extra Upgrades:
Extras can have any call available. 1x2, 2x1, or 2x2 are the usual desired upgrades.
Under Format choose: 1x2, 2x1 or 2x2
For Prefix choose: A, K, N or W
For District choose: 6
